This oversize playbill of "West Side Story" uses the colors and the collage effect so
prevalent in the musical theatre posters of the 50's and 60's. This "retro" effect is
correct right down to the "fire escape" detail in the lower left. Highlighting several
of the musical's most famous dramatic moments was the request of the acting coach at Wexford Dance Academy
(www.wexforddance.com).
Each of the painted playbills are framed with the same faux marble, but have unique individual
matte colors.
